Amazonged (again)

“Service Note – Kindle books removed from Amazon’s data feed service: For those of you who have been using TitleZ to track the Kindle editions of your books, we’re sorry to report that Amazon has acknowledged that it will no longer provide Kindle sales rank data via their data feed service. This means that we will no longer be able to track Kindle sales ranks on TitleZ. Our sincere apologies for the inconvenience…like you, we’re sorry to see the Kindle data go away! The TitleZ Team”

A pretty good indicator that Kindle book sales just ain’t what they ought to be, huh? Blocking sales data from being tracked independently also serves to thwart publishers and authors from determining the integrity of Amazon’s accounting system, which those Indies utilizing the Digital Text Platform can tell you is DUBIOUS at best.

Here’s my Kindle rank right now.

Have a great day!
